My
Story
My journey with flowers began in my childhood. As a child, I often visited my grandmother in the countryside, where I discovered my love for nature. I used to weave flower crowns for girls and make small bouquets from wildflowers for my aunts, grandmother, and my mother – the most wonderful woman in my life. Even back then, I dreamed of owning a flower shop, although in the communist era, acquiring flowers and floral materials was no easy task.
I took my first steps as a professional florist in 1999 when my business partner and I opened our first flower shop in Katowice, Poland. From the beginning, we focused on innovation, drawing inspiration from new trends, even though it was a challenge in that market. I honed my skills in Warsaw, working at an exclusive flower shop, where I learned various techniques and styles.
After a few years of working together, I continued my floral career independently. I collaborated with institutions such as Polish Radio Katowice, the Grand Theatre, and the Philharmonic, and I also created floral arrangements for weddings, special occasions, and corporate events.
In 2005, I moved to Key West, Florida. Although life initially led me down a different professional path, floristry always remained a part of my life. In recent years, I've completed floral arrangements for yacht clubs in Key West, as well as for New Year's Eve and Christmas events, weddings, and other celebrations.
In 2023, I returned to Poland to take an individual course with the master florist Hubert Lamański. This experience further enhanced my skills, culminating in an exam and earning a diploma.
Floristry has always been my passion. I love gifting people with flowers, seeing the smiles on their faces, and the joy in their eyes. Flowers are more than just beautiful arrangements – they are emotions that connect people, bringing them happiness and warmth.
